Tammy began her journey in the veterinary field in 2003. She was attending the University of Michigan, pursuing a degree in geology, when she obtained a summer job as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital near Ann Arbor. Tammy learned a great deal while there and fell in love with the job. That summer she decided that she much preferred spending her time with animals instead of rocks and has been working in the veterinary field ever since.
Tammy is married with two children, a son and a daughter. When she isn't working she enjoys spending time with her family playing board games, camping or just spending a relaxing day at home.
Tammy has one dog: Fergus, and four cats: Lincoln, Archer, Gideon and Mickey.

Brittany grew up around animals of all kinds. Not only did her family have pets, but her parents were both wild life rehabilitators. Brittany graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Baker College in 2016 with an Associates in Applied Science. During her final semester at Baker, Brittany spent her externship at Grand Haven Animal Hospital. After her graduation, GHAH asked Brittany to become a permanent part of the team, offering her a position which she gladly accepted. She has been happily working with us ever since.
Brittany has one dog: a labradoodle named Butters, with whom she frequently enjoys hiking, swimming and generally all things outdoors with.
