Dr. Stacie grew up in Grand Rapids, MI, where she worked as a veterinary assistant during her high school and undergrad years.
Stacie completed her undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University with a BS in Biomedical Science. From there, Stacie went on to Michigan State University for Veterinary Sciences. She graduated from MSU with her DVM in 2018.
Stacie enjoys working in small animal medicine in general, but she has particular interests in sighthound medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, pain management and geriatric medicine.
Stacie joined our team here at Grand Haven Animal Hospital in 2018, shortly after graduating. She began her adventure working with us part-time on Fridays, but her role has since expanded to include not only Friday afternoons, but evening hours as well. In June of 2019 Grand Haven Animal Hospital opened up for urgent care hours during the hours of 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with Dr. Stacie at the helm.
When Stacie isn't busy at work, she enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, carpentry and tinkering around fixing things.
Stacie has 5 dogs: Addison, Kyle & Nellie, all greyhounds, and Chiari & Wynnie, both whippets. She also has 3 cats: Taz, Felix & Casper.
